Julian is honestly getting to be so….douchy. A fan comes up to sing one of your songs and you have to rip her like this. She did an ok job but that's barely the point. She loves their music and wanted to sing one of her favorite songs with them. If he was gonna be like this he really could have just ignored her.
This was a great concert and the strokes did so well was a privilege to go

Such a shame julian didn't sing this song, we paid a lot of money and this was one of my favourites. Nothing against this person, sure it was a great experience for her, but we wanted to see the strokes do it, had waited a long time to see them.

I think she was incredible. She may not have the voice of a professional singer but she did well and had so much energy. And anyways, why should only people with insane musical talent get the chance to go on stage? I think that anyone should have the opportunity to experience a special moment with their favorite artist. She could have been any one of us and that’s why I loved this performance even more!!
It was a great night, she may not have been the best singer, but she got up on stage and gave it her best. Glad to have been there.

Huge fan of the band but Fab was the only true bro in this entire situation. Could this girl even hear herself? Besides being in an uncontrolled environment which just increases the anxiety, she was projecting her voice so much I doubt she had in-ear monitors from how unrelaxed she sounded. Julian should've backed her up with his vocals at least towards the end since she said she wanted to sing with him and was clearly struggling from the very start. Dude straight up left her alone and then put her on the spot by asking every member what they thought at the end. Seriously uncool. Furthermore, this crowd might as well be a cemetery from the lack of people singing along and killing the vibe even more by being jerks by the time it was over. Props to this girl for her courage and effort and to Fab for being so supportive and cool.
Would've been funny as hell if Julian just commented "it's not as easy as you thought huh?"
