In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, “Edge Of Seventeen.” More platinum albums followed – ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice – first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

Too much pain going around. We need President elect Biden and Vice President elect Harris to show us the way because I’m getting more scared every day. All these good people in this video fought long and hard and they did it peacefully and some people want to tear everything good that stands for democracy down! 😔 every time I see or get a glimpse of George Floyd my heart breaks in a million pieces 😔. I don’t feel much healing. Every time I hear another personal story about a civid 19 family, brother or sister or father and daughter or a son and his father whom are doctors them selves trying to save others . How can we stand anymore.. someone needs to “show us the way because I do feel very lost about our country for the first time” ✌️😔🇺🇸

I love how the video visually blurs the lines between then and today. Society tends to disregard the problems of the day as meaningless in comparison to the problems of the past, but when you look at the pictures, blurry and laid out before you black and white, all I see are images of people suffering, wanting the world to be that little bit better than it was in that moment of captured light – and what a shame, what a waste, to sense only in hindsight. It would take a mind like Stevie’s, that functions outside of logic and time and moves in emotional realms, to put it together so succinctly. Our white winged dove of peace, always 🕊 🥀 ✨
