On the full-moon evening of the month of Phālguna (1486 A.D) Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu appeared as the son of Śrī Śacīdevī and Jagannātha Miśra. When the Lord took birth, coincidentally there was also a lunar eclipse. It was a custom to bathe in the Ganges of any other sacred river during the hours of eclispe, and to chant the holy names of the Lord Hari.
Join us today to celebrate the divine appearance day of Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the most merciful incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Festival Highlights: Pallaki Utsav, Kirtans, Abhishekam, Festival lecture, Prasadam
