I don't think in all my many decades of life, British music has never been as bad. You cannot listen to any of the so called music they play. By the way, I still love heavy rock, my favourites being Rammstein and Alter Bridge.

  2. Boyband music. Nothing rock n roll about this shit

  3. Too big for their boots

  4. I love Royal Blood, and fully support their comments to the rubber lipped Tit toc brainwashed crowd.
TBH i don't understand why such a great duo were even playing at this type of garbage pop gig.
Im sure RB won't loose any sleep over the snowflakes🤘

  5. Gray Gray says:

What a bunch of muppets ,don't bite the hand that feeds you! If you feel the crowd isn't hyped, then do your job and hype them up,that's your job ,don't act like entiitled wankers 🙄

  6. Not surprised at the luke warm reception. Simon Cowel and BBC Radio 1 have effectively killed off real music. These generation x's can't understand anything that wasn't produced on a laptop without a gay dance routine. Royal Blood are about the best hands out there atm. Wasted on these X factor loving muppets.

  7. This is one of the most awkward sets ive ever seen. Put me right off ever going to see them

  8. Cheesy, overproduced shite.

  9. TCN 05 says:

As a pretty die hard Royal Blood fan I feel I speak for the rest of us when I say this was not the Royal Blood or Mike we know and love. It's a real shame because I always want new people to discover them as they're absolutely class and one of the most exciting British rock bands at the moment. I'd urge anyone to go and check out their music and watch other gigs they perform, they create some of the best atmospheres out there. For two people, my god they make a noise. Mike and Ben are lovely guys and it was clearly just a bad day.
Social media is always quick to latch its teeth into any sort of outrage or gossip, and its a shame its fallen on these guys. I'll still keep supporting them, enjoying their music and watching them tour.

  10. I see stuff in the news about rappers showing up late, missing entire gigs, freaking out on stage and other crazy stuff. I guess when a rock band does it its bad though?

  11. J says:

It's Radio 1. Not really a rock metal crowd, right?

  12. 32shumble says:

I think they'd be a lot better with a guitarist or keyboard player

  13. Eowa says:

Divas. Plenty of people are loving it. You’re a manufactured band with job security as long as you want it. Most of us will never get that. Be thankful you’re even on that stage to begin with. Used to love these guys but this is just making me think they’re as much arseholes as other so-called rockstars.

  14. Really enjoyed these guys. Shame 90% of the crowd were there to see Lewis Capaldi and Niall

  15. This sounds like pop music to me. Not sure what this guy's problem is… seems like he was at the right event after all. On top of which, he's clearly lip syncing.

  16. Sugarcuba says:

It is their job to win over a crowd…

  17. I remember watching a famous UK rock band in January via live streaming performing at a festival in USA. As expected from USA crowd, they're half asleep (maybe it's their way to enjoy a live show?) but the band that's been running around for decades still gave their best energy as always, the frontman really handled everything well. They still show respect to the crowd, no rambling (?) and left the stage with smile. Sometimes I kinda feel bad when the crowd don't give respons to the perfomer but kudos for those who have patience and hummility to finish their job at any worst mood and situation that probably they don't expect before.

  18. They are there to entertain the crowd, not the other way around. Sounds like the singer believes the hype

  19. Royal Blood is an amazing band & very talented, check out their other songs, then you'll get it. It was a Pop crowd that didn't appreciate good Rock. Will be looking forward to seeing them in concert soon! 😎🎸❤️

  20. sean barr says:

Amazing to read so many other entitled comments stating these two are the best musicians since sliced bread and the audience are at fault for not being more responsive! Freaking hilarious that you all seem to think an audience who are not just Royal Blood's fans, should absolutely bow down to their every whim. The world doesn't work like that guys and when it doesn't, best not to give yourself away with such a crappy response. They chose to do a gig where they would have been paid well. Many would appreciate the fee they got.

  21. Pair of Southern English that's that thinks they don't need to win a crowd over. Bigger acts than them have had rough crowds and won them over. Resorting to insulting the crowd- instead of winning them over shows just how arrogant they are.

    Music is shite as well.

  22. Costa12346 says:

In July in Portugal we will show the respect these guys deserve

  23. Looks like the crowd were digging it. I don’t see why he spat his dummy out. 😂

  24. Looks like they are syncing!

  25. The Raven says:

I feel sorry for Royal Blood now. They’re getting all the wrong attention.

  26. Solid music but boys a tw@t! It's radio one big wknd a family event with the majority there to see pop acts, but your crying like a baby cos didn't have enough rock fans In the audience, don't think you made many new fans giving little kids abuse 😂

  27. Majordog23 says:

Pretty bland band. They were never going to go down well at radio 1. More suited to radio6.

  28. stewrmo says:

BBC cowards not showing them spit the dummy, what a surprise…REFUSE to pay the licence tax.

  29. Will says:

Swapping synth bass for a fuzz bass and having a lumpy guy doing the beat doesn’t make this rock music, it sounds like hot chip or something. Dad Pop

  30. What was Mike so upset about? The crowd looked like they were having a good time.

  31. maybe people just didnt like them ? “What does that say about them?”

  32. SephPlayz says:

30 years ago nobody really cared about Axl Rose storming off stage half the time and yet it's big big news when Royal Blood do it in present date..People need to accept that this is rock music and rock music is not only about the good music but a good attitude.

  33. Many people were clapping along and there was a good cheer at the end, so what was this petulant outburst all about ? They have really embarrassed themselves, this is so unmanful a reaction. OK maybe a fair proportion of the audience were just trying this type of music out, and it wasn't really their bag. I remember hearing about Oasis in their early days playing to a handful of geezers in a pub and a dog, and that was their lot. How about toughen up guys, and roll with the punches a bit more ? Treating an audience bad is very low class and uncool.

  34. Char P says:

I’m a firm believer in you can say what you want if you can back it up . This complete shite and they deserved their own identity crisis here . They aren’t what they think they are

  35. Eric Coyle says:

If I had gone to this event the only band I would have been interested in seeing is Royal Blood. I watched a couple of acts and it was basically generic pop pap. But I guess that's what the young UN's like these days. Perhaps it was ever thus.

  36. Very ungrateful people there… even when I don’t know the band I still have fun and dance 🙄 there an amazing band I don’t get it
