This video features some of the highlights of my almost-4years-experience of studying abroad in Japan. When some people might prefer a bigger city, I never regret my decision of going to Oita.
As a girl from Jakarta, I’ve always been excited to live so close to nature. Not only nature, but I can also experience the beauty of Japanese traditional culture from being a part of shamisen club. Moreover, living with Japanese and other international students help me understand the world better.
Here, I’ve met the kindest, most ambitious, most humble, all different kinds of interesting people that I’ve never met before. All with the same goal, to create a better future for the world under freedom, peace, and humanity.
Due to time constraints, many things are not featured in the video. Like the times when I miss martabak so much that I tried to make my own and eventually sell them at the Tenkusai festival with the help of my friends from Global Business Leaders, and my favorite part-time job experience when I had to sell programs (guidebook) and be able to watch the match live in the Rugby World Cup.
