2022 was eventful as usual. Although the year started with closed concert halls, from February, all planned concerts were, fortunately, able to continue. We ended with a tour through the Netherlands and Germany with our jubilant Christmas program Magnificat. We travelled through Europe with Beatrice Rana and in the summer we gave an open-air concert high up in the Italian Dolomites. Other highlights were the Sinfonietta String Festival Zeeland, the performance with Angélique Kidjo during the Holland Festival, the compelling spectacle Het barre land with which we travelled through the country together with the ISH Dance Collective, and the premieres of Joey Roukens’ Bosch Requiem and Michel van der Aa’s new chamber music theatre project The Book of Water.
