Is it just me or Eric seems a bit lost , I thought he could just easily pick up things and improvise , that tells me he may not be as great at we may think. Great musicians are able to improvise and listen and play effortlessly
The female drummer is fantastic but I fear she is motivated by anger on this performance.

FWIW: "Black Magic Woman" was original Fleetwood Mac tune before they hit big with Stevie Nicks. In fact several of Santana's early hits were covers.
I saw Clapton in mid 70s in Saratoga N.Y. .. Santana was his opening act..Neil Schon of Journey was at the time playing guitar in Santanas band..The concert encore was Eric and Carlos playing and jamming together..FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!

When I saw Santana, oh, a good 15 years ago, they played something unrecognizable for about 15 minutes until, suddenly, it turned into this amazing jazzy version of Black Magic Woman, no vocals, just a half hour jam that was the most amazing thing I ever heard.
First song. Carlos walks to the mike, says
"We like to do things different every night"
Never heard that version anywhere since (there wasn't YT then, or people illegally filming on their phones)

Time to retire for both of these guys! They are totally uncoordinated, solos are very basic improvisations–they totally butchered one of the most beautiful rock songs of all time. This is not how to go into sunset!
