  1. I saw Chris in Tallahassee at the club the moon he was off the chain deb from apalachicola

  2. Jaabrakah says:

heard Tom Bukovac say that if you hit the strings too hard the pickups get overloaded and can't pick up all the vibrations -he also says sometimes you just gotta go hard-, anyhow Chris plays with extreme authority yet it never looks like he is using too much force. has succesfully merged with the strat. seamless yet not effortless (sweat is dripping).
had to clap at end of video. off for some versace jeans now

  3. I first heard of Chris a few years back when this song came up on one of my online radio playlists. His amazing playing and vocals got my attention, and it looks like he's still going strong!

  4. I think I'll burn my guitar and take up knitting now

  5. I prefer when he play with the Vaughan s, spirit . When he want play jazz it doesn't sound

  6. Trowerz says:

  7. I’ll be damned, where the Hell has Duarte been man??? Duarte needs to get his ass back to Austin and revive the real music scene from hip hop kill each other music! Since the Arc Angels gave up, come in back to Austin and rip it up Chris Duarte! I’ll buy the first tickets…

  8. I first saw Chris in a tiny hole in the wall club in College Station Texas back in the early ‘90s and I’ve been a fan ever since. We sat and talked with him between sets and several times afterward when he came through there or Houston. He is such a cool guy

  9. Why does he always get compared to srv? Cause he plays blues rock on a strat style guitar? He sounds nothing like srv

  10. amazing touch! still don't have big hands! that's a shrug shrug 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂ [ can't do a thing about that]

Natasha on the scene to capture this great performance. Chris sounds amazing! Thanks for much for posting, Natasha!

  17. Chris is the MAN! He played a house show for us in 2019, I still gotta dig out and edit that footage…

  18. Really nice, haven't heard such a lively strat sound since Stevie Ray. Even though many try to approach Stevie Ray, but this has that joyous quality to it that's quite rare I think.
