FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS: Boomtown Fair CH1: “The Gathering” Official Festival After Film (2022)

avatar

Chapter One: The Gathering was the ultimate celebration. Relive the magic with our feature-length after film.

The language used in the opening and closing ceremony was rebuilt from a lost Celtic language itself, a fragment from even older tongues. We are extremely grateful to Carolyn Hillyer and Nigel Shaw from Seventh Wave for bringing us these beautiful chants.

Got to say that I am really looking forward to Chapter 2 .. I was a huge fan of the chapters that have gone before and do miss the long walks between stages but this new format works for me.. I hope there is less dust this year but other than that I can honestly say boomtown is the best festival I have ever seen. Now many months later videos like this just drop me back into that great feeling of humanity.
