The organ first arrived in the baking hot summer of 2018, played one or two dittes, threw a disco and then left BIS HQ in the winter of 2021.

I’ll present LIVE some of the best moments of this organ’s stint at BIS HQ and will tell you some stories about the organ which you may not have heard.

Complete with long-lost archive footage and pictures which a lot of you will have never before seen!

  1. Love the Lotti! Lets hear more of these arrangements – the small snippit you played was very much in keeping with the name of the channel – sounded awesome!

Big fan of the East West Choirs and the Spitfire plugins (Especially the BBC Symphony Orchestra). Have you tried getting the East West choirs to actually sing the words? It's a great way to waste a week! <grin> Nothing beats Spectrasonics Keyscape for the best Pianos. Have you heard the LABS Organ? I suggested they do an organ (which they did a few months later) but that's definately not one of their better LABS efforts when you consider what you can get with Hauptwerk or Grande Orgue and the free sample sets.

  2. Thank you for refreshing my memories. I tried checking my history of watching but unfortunately that’s lost along with the content.

  3. this is a wonderful compilation of some of your broadcasts, really enjoyable. i am listening to it while i oversee the watch on the Christian helpline ,really helped keep me focused on the Lord as well as enjoying Caroline's beautiful voice and your superb playing. Thank you so much

  4. enjoying watching this in catch up.

  5. I was stunned to hear about your troubles with trying to get accepted on WPP. Glad to hear you eventually got on, but at the great expense of removing all that wonderful content from last year! I remember telling an American friend of mine about a beautiful Norwegian sailing ship I had spent five days aboard back in 2008, as a small part of a trainee crew. This was removed by some intervening authority with the lame excuse that it was either sensitive or undesirable content!! You could not make it up!! I hasten to add that this had nothing to do with U Tube!!

  6. What a stunning voice you have, Caroline. Practically no vibrato which I prefer in this setting.

  7. Happy Birthday to you Richard. Enjoy the rest of the day!

  8. Could someone catch me up on where the organ has gone and when we might see it again in a live program? Just love the live program! And could Caroline share the recipe for the amazing looking birthday cake?

  9. I'm loving this team effort between Richard and Caroline. Together you have produced something truly amazing, and hugely entertaining. Bless you both and thanks so much for the pleasure you bring, on Beauty in Sound.

  10. Wonderful to see so many memories and older content before I found your channel. I particularly like the virtual choir, but realise the effort that goes into producing the final videos. All the very best to you, Caroline (of the angelic voice) and of course to the young man, Hugo. Isn't he growing up fast?

  11. Ohhh, A Ghost? Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS… ; – D

  12. Ohhh, Caroline getting Chamaded…Really? Well, probably better than being Bombarded… ; – D

  13. Ohhh, cheese and crackers! It has been Lord Richard's Birthday. Well, tell me how it feels to be almost 19? And that Chocolate Cake looks absolutely delicious – Hope it's not a Willy Wonka Special… ; – D You'll never be able to finish chewing it…

  14. Chris York says:

What a fantastic look back, and forward too! I have enjoyed so much since i found you almost 2 years ago now…you have refreshed my soul and my love of organ and choral music thank you! Having sung in a church choir now for 40 years this year it has often become a bit "samey" but hearing your music and enthusiasm has certainly lifted my spirits. Thank you, God bless you and your lovely family and best wished to you all for Christmas and the New Year! I look forward to hearing much more in the weeks, months and hopefully years ahead!

  15. Isiah XP says:

Happy birthday Richard, from Cape Town.

  16. So much fun and beautifully done

  17. Another superb video from BIS, many thanks for the sweet memories Richard. Blessings to you all, from 18 miles from Lincoln (Sleaford)

  18. KA Fleury says:

Oh how I enjoyed this! 😹👏👏👏🎶👏👏👏😇🥰👶👏👏👏
The first few weeks after I came across your channel, I honestly thought you were in the Netherlands, stranded because of the travel lockdowns. I'm still not sure if you really were, or if you were simply using your programmed sounds from Dutch organs. I can say that it was truly a blessing to keep Sundays holy by meditating on the hymns, while I was locked out of my local parish church. The churches reopened a year ago, but I continue to prepare for evening Mass by listening to Beauty in Sound nearly every Sunday. How much has changed! Hugo's arrival has brought so much joy 😇👶🥰
I really was in stitches over the cats' antics😹 When I first came across BIS my son's ferocious feral feline, Percy, was still with us. He was a tough street cat my son rescued with a severe injury that he wouldn't have survived. It's anyone's guess as to how long he had lived on the streets, being that he was estimated to be 8 years old when rescued. He may have escaped from his original home, or he may have been born to a feral mama. Either way, the injury affected his eye, so my son prudently kept him indoors from then on. He was grateful, and warmed up to me (he bonded immediately with my son). Alas, his life on the streets was hard on his health, and, in his third year with us, he developed kidney disease and possibly a brain tumor. We had to say goodbye to him in August, 2020. I still miss him, and his antics. It brings me pleasure to watch Bobbi and Nala — it eases my heartache to laugh at their classic "catliness."

  19. CHAMADES. yay yay yay. more more more … encore Caroline, Encore!!!

  20. Veni Creator …. masterful …. perfect ending to a perfect presentation … going from good, to very good to intuitive praiseworthy presentation. long may it continue to be that beacon in the dark, drawing is all to what c@n only be classed as sheer beauty in sound. a dream realized, and still being realized Richard, well done sir. I salute you. We all stand behind and with you no matter in what small way we can. Txx

  21. Such a beautiful, beautiful rendition of Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring – I for one will never tire from hearing it right up to my dying breath. It has that edge and such meaningful …. can,t think of an appropriate word here … suffice to say, for me, this version heralds as number one, an will remain for ever so. God bless each and every one of you. xxxx

  22. Trevor +1. maybe a bit late following excrutiating emergency treatment but now calming down and totally engrossed in this fabulous presentation. my love to you. xxxx. just what I needed right now.

  23. M Fournier says:

Of course, good vid! It was a treat to hear Caroline massage the keys. Nice piece (sans the en chamade stop!).

  27. It’s been such a joy to watch your videos, there has been some fantastic content, so educational too. Can’t wait to see the new organ in action soon!

  30. Happy Belated Birthday and many blessings. Thanks for this channel and the work you do. I am retired and have enjoyed many hours of your content. Where did the old organ end up going? Many thanks,

  31. Happy birthday, Richard! No one switched off for the announcement, I'm sure!

  32. A remarkable look-back on the wonderful achievements of the Viscount as a key part of BiS HQ – we will miss it, but we are excited for the new organ and all of the wonderful music and experiences it will facilitate. And we wish the lucky new owner of the Viscount the VERY best with his studies – may he find it as much of an ongoing inspiration as we all have!

  33. Rob Lane says:

    That armchair looks superbly comfortable!

  34. dreilias says:

I'm looking forward to watching the whole video tomorrow. And I'm also looking forward to the new organ. I've always wanted to ask what the piece in the outro is called. Can anyone answer that for me? Thank you in advance. Greeting from Germany.

  35. Ubertuba says:

  36. marty m says:
