FestEvol have increased their line-up of incredible new & emerging talent yet further with the additions of some old friends and new groups. Manchester band PINS need no introduction to Evol Doers, they’ve been playing shows for us for a number of years and have never disappointed and are back with a new record, tour and collaboration with Iggy Pop. Liverpool based internationals ALL WE ARE also return with a new record to play for us, they’re former headliners and will be playing at the perfect time and we’re so excited about the new material. Then two newcomers, Brightons sky-gaze psych-rockers WHITE ROOM and Copenhagen’s electro soul royalty CHINAH alongside two brand new groups from Liverpool, the inimitable BRIBES and youngbloods SPINN.

The groups join existing headliners WILD BEASTS, PULLED APART BY HORSES, THE PARROTS and THE SUNDOWNERS. There’s a further array of the best emerging talent from across the UK and further that reflects a healthier future for the industry including THE BIG MOON, INHEAVEN, CABBABGE, BLACK HONEY, ULRIKA SPACEK, DREAM WIFE, AMBER ARCADES, THE ORIELLES, THE BLINDERS, PEANESS, THE STRAWBERRIES and in true FestEvol fashion we’ve weaved in our friends and the very best of the Liverpool music scene with stalwarts STRANGE COLLECTIVE, former Lying Bastards SHY BILLY, new feral love ST. JUDE THE OBSCURE, renamed Tom Low as TV ME, stablemate Deltasonic newbies PSYCHO COMEDY and GOD ON MY RIGHT, the awesome PINK KINK, that band of HER’S, reborn spares GENERATION and War Room Records signing AGP.

Liverpool’s Kazimier collective are transforming the host venue the Invisible Wind Factory into a gargantuan festival site with three separate ‘atmospheres’ the main hall, basement and outdoor stages whilst FestEvol is working with local artists and set designers to bring the ‘Future Garden’ theme to life.

FestEvol Gardens booker & promoter Revo comments:

“I kind of feel effervescent every time I look at the posters knowing what each group can do on stage. We’re punching well above our weight with this line up and it’s a testament to Evols work around the year in Liverpool that all these bands will form together for us on one day to enjoy themselves in an out-there venue like the Invisible Wind Factory that’s found deep down the Docklands”

“It’s been a long journey since we began life with our first FestEvol event way back in 2008 with many highs along the way with the successes of the Kazimier and Camp and Furnace events but I feel we’ve found a new long term partner and home at the Invisible Wind Factory, a venue that shares our passion for the new, innovative and creative forces in music and art. We’re moving forward with an incredible sense of purpose and excitement at what the future holds and our April event will be the pinnacle of our previous years yet a new starting point for the festival.”
