This August, Newton-le-Willows comes alive with sound as the Newton Music Festival 2025 takes over Mesnes Park for a three-day celebration of music, community, and unforgettable moments. Friday 1st August – Opening Night

Friday night launches the festival with a dynamic blend of dub, DJ culture, and genre-bending beats. Expect big sound and an even bigger atmosphere as national names light up the park.

Meduulla

Opening the festival with lyrical depth and cool-headed confidence, Meduulla delivers jazz-infused hip-hop and spoken-word style that sets the tone for a thoughtful yet energetic evening.

Dave Haslam

The legendary DJ and former Hacienda mainstay returns to Newton with a deep dive into house, indie-dance, and club classics. Expect a musical journey from one of Manchester’s most respected selectors.

Beatles Dub Club

A festival favorite, this project reimagines the Beatles’ catalogue through dub, ska, and reggae. It’s a joyful, singalong dance party with a psychedelic twist-equal parts nostalgia and invention.

The Nextmen

Friday’s headliners, The Nextmen, bring genre-hopping DJ wizardry to the stage. Hip-hop, soul, funk, and breaks collide in a set that’s guaranteed to move the crowd and close the night with serious bounce.

Saturday 2nd August – Indie Energy and Rising Stars

Saturday night is for the indie kids, the festival veterans, and fans of electrifying live music. With a stacked lineup of emerging UK talent and a massive local headliner, it’s the heartbeat of the weekend.
