Elderflower Fields – a family festival in two parts

Festivals and gigs. A listings calendar, plus previews, news, reviews, and photos

Recognised as one of the leading family festivals in the UK, Elderflower Fields delivers adventure and discovery to even more families this May.

A wild weekend awaits at two stunning rural locations in Sussex and Leicestershire.

The team behind this award-winning family weekend is working with local activity providers, performers, nature experts and food vendors to build a unique rich programme of sports, arts and environmental activities for children that Elderflower Fields has become so well known for.

Organiser Nigel Greenwood said, “Expect magic, excitement, tree climbing, sports, art, music and discovery along with delicious locally produced food and drink.

“A family adventure, Elderflower Fields is a time to breathe again, and a chance for kids to enjoy being kids without the distraction of the digital world. Muddy knees and grass stains are not obligatory, but even our
Mums and Dads wear them with pride!”

Elderflower Fields Midlands takes place at Stanford Hall near Lutterworth 29th to 31st May and Elderflower Fields South returns to Pippingford Park in Sussex 22nd to 25th May. Created by a group of friends who wanted a festival that their children could also enjoy, it’s all about bringing families closer by getting active and trying new experiences.

Weekend tickets include free camping and a unique Sunday afternoon taster picnic introducing families toa selection of delicious local produce.
