Described as one of the artists ‘at the forefront of Glasgow's burgeoning jazz and world music scene’ by Scotland on Sunday, Mezcla features some of the brightest Scottish musicians around.
In this online concert, recorded exclusively for EJBF, Mezcla showcase some of the best tunes from their latest album ‘Shoot The Moon’, which was shortlisted for the 2020 Scottish Album of the Year.
Band leader and bassist, David Bowden tells us a bit about their musical influences in this short clip. If you want to hear the full interview, and watch their set (presented as part of a double header with Harry Weir's Blue Boar Brass) then get your tickets here: https://link.dice.fm/Cb3OIpybwbb
