The Bodega in Nottingham has been a Dot To Dot Festival venue since back when we started in 2005, and of course they’ll be back this year with 2 stages packed full of artists. We caught up with the venue’s promotions assistant Sam Keirl to get his top picks for this year’s festival.
• Must see act: Bad Sounds. Played here a few months back and everybody just lost their minds dancing, so much fun.
• Track of the festival: Adam French – Weightless
• Festival tip: Wear comfy footwear and smash a big fatty breakfast in the morning.
• Venue fact: At the start of his career Matthew Horne (Gavin & Stacey, The Catherine Tate Show) used to practice his comedy routines upstairs before opening hours of the bar.

Great little venue. Saw Ultrasound there in 2010.
