Deer Shed’s bottled it: we’re introducing a ban on the sale of single use plastic bottles and straws at #DeerShed9 with the support of our official 2018 charity, WasteAid UK.

WasteAid UK was set up by waste management professionals to share practical and low-cost waste management know-how with communities in low-income countries.

Deer Shedders know we always tried to make our lovely, little festival community sustainable, from utilising recycled materials in workshops to selling beer in reusable goblets and donating leftover food, but we believe this is our most important step forward yet.

So what do you need to do? Please ensure you bring re-usable water bottles with you, which can be filled up at one of our many standpipes. We’ll be selling reusable bottles, just in case you do forget.
