Other than on the main stage field? Scarborough beach before anyone else arrives – get there for breakfast, have a play on the sand and be home as everyone else wakes up. 🤩
There are so many places in Yorkshire that are amazing, it’s impossible to choose so our most recent favourite place to chill is the Santa train leaving from Grosmont… an hour and a half of pootling through the hills and streams of the North Yorkshire Moors. I could’ve sat there all week! 😍
Outside the New Inn at Appletreewick sat watching the sun go down over the Wharfe 🌄
Lordstones. Absolutely stunning views and delicious steak pies 😍
Ilkley moor
Sitting on bench above white horse, looking over north Yorkshires beautiful landscape,
Spern point is very beautiful and tranquil 💝💝💝💝
Buckden Pike
Robinhoods bay
Sitting at Deershed watching the first act on a Friday night and eating the Thali from Gandhi’s Flip Flop.
Not somewhere I could take an air sofa but love relaxing in York! 🤣
After the main stage at Deershed my favourite place of chill is with a cup of tea on Filey long Beach with my daughter and her cousins all in wetsuits safely bodyboarding in 2 foot of water like they’re on Bondi Beach!
We love camping at Akebar Park with friends. A lovely place for all to enjoy the outdoors
An air sofa! What a good idea.
Other than the main stage at Deershed drinking the amazing gin that was on sale last year, anywhere overlooking the North York Moors Railway with my steam train obsessed boy!
Camping anywhere! Appletreewick or Malham are probably my favourites 🏕
A beach hut in Bridlington for me. It was like the Riviera this summer!
Anywhere that has sunshine and alcohol
My back garden with my family
I love a walk upto the white horse at Kilburn 😍 xx
Sat on the bench, on a sunny day, outside the Craven Arms in Appletreewick, pint in hand (and headphones on to block out the noise of the kids complaining about the lack of a 4G signal)
Ilkla moor bah tat!
Hardraw Force nr Hawes.
A close call between Deer Shed and Appletreewick
Knaresborough castle, overlooking the viaduct 😊
Other than deershed?! OK I love Spurn Point, it’s gorgeous Phil Eagleton 💖✌😂
Love a wander round Brimham Rocks, they are stunning formations, and the views up there amazing. I could happily sit on the air sofa watching crazy people climb the rocks…
Runswick Bay😊
Favourite place in Yorkshire, after my home city of York, it would have a close call between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay…. But for the sheer exhilaration of fossil hunting and rock pooling with little people, I’ll go with RHB. 😀
Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Whip Ma Whop Ma Gate – certainly has the best name – and Deershed in the sun… of course!
Squeeeeezing through the the ‘Cheese Press’ in the Long Churn Cave System, Ingleborough !
That’s not fair picking one place! But on the list would be Museum Gardens in York with these two monkeys 🐒
Skipton woods is a magical place at anytime of the year
Lots to choose from, but probably Otley Chevin
On top of Sutton Brow overlooking Lake Gormire & Hood Hill
Anywhere along the North Yorkshire coastline 🌊
Crackpot Hall, easy!
Roundhay Park
Sitting on a sofa at Paul Newbys Combat Arts Academy in Silsden watching my daughter do karate. We travel there from Cumbria each week – the quality of Yorkshire karate figters is particularly good!!. Its a special time for me, where i can sit back, relax and enjoy seeing my daughter do what she loves best!!
CB Inn near Reeth. We even got married there.
Arnscliffe Crags, Otley Chevin, Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey – too many to mention. Its what makes Yorkshire great tha’knows.
