100% homegrown Nashville, Richie Owens was brought up in a bluegrass family and began playing Dobro when he was just a boy. By the time he was in his teens, he was building and fixing his own instruments. Richie has built Resonator guitars for Ron Wood, Sonny Landreth, and Jerry Douglas, and later built his own “Owens Guitars” for folks like Nils Lofgren and Bob Weir (Grateful Dead).
Richie has produced some of his cousin, Dolly Parton’s hit records and remains a touring member of her band.
Expect genuine Nashville Country/Americana at its finest!
