Very sad news, sending condolences.
First heard David on Loose Ends, then when he was Fairport support ages ago, and also via “The Fairport Tour” in its printed form. And of course, the Aggies at Rainworth and the previous Notts venue. I never got the chance to ask him about Maldon, Thames barges and all, also to apologise for the demon grappa I once inflicted on him…..😢😢😢
I’ll be thinking of you every time I get me lights up! RIP David 😢
