  3. Ralph McTell always has been one of my favourite singers. He has always had such a lovely & clear voice and you can hear every word. Take care, stay safe. I look forward to seeing you on a stage somewhere when they unlock the doors

  4. That actually brought a tear to my eye.

  5. Lovely verse from a wonderful gentleman. It has been a pleasure to see him live on stage. Stay safe.

  6. I was just reading about this. I’ve been lucky enough to see Ralph a few times and singalong with this song. First time would have been back in the late 70s at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon. Last time was a free gig at Yamaha Music stores in Soho about 3 years ago when he was joined by guitar legend Albert Lee.

  7. Nooo don’t let him sing!!!! It will rain 🤣🤣🤣 sorry…to many times of sitting listening to streets of London in the rain at Cropredy 😂🤣

I’ve love this song since the first time I heard Ralph sing many years ago, a great new verse, I’ve a tear in my eye

  12. “Do not take me by the hand as I lead you through the streets of London (2m apart)?
