  3. Hello Mum 👋 ❤️

  4. Ian Moules says:

    Lovely, but….
Being pernickety, it would be good if you could protect a (much) larger area around the base of the tree to protect the roots, otherwise the ground gets compacted which is not good news for the tree.
Acting now will mean you will have your tree for much longer.
    Sorry for being an anorak

  5. My beloved sister taken too soon, love you forever Phili ❤️❤️❤️😥

  6. Always wished I had gone to Cropredy! Good to see you are still around young Roland!

  7. In Oxfordshire there stands a tree in pastures lush and green.
Close by the Churwell winds its way through the village of Cropredy.
And once a year the people come to celebrate with song.
And Jonahs Oak stands sentinel to those who are now gone

It shall not be a place of sadness
It shall be a place of celebration
For Jonahs oak is a very fine oak and a mighty old oak tree
Yes jonahs oak is a very fine oak and a mighty old oak tree

First line and chorus of song I wrote 😊

  8. Peter Jex says:

I would like to attach a plaque on or by the tree in memory of my wife. I will be returning to Cropredy for the first time since her death in 2018. who do I contact for permission please.

  9. Karen Wood says:

Is it possible for someone to gather acorns from it in the Autumn so that they can be made available to those willing to bring on a sapling. I have had some success in the past from gathered acorns and would love to have the chance of getting a son of Jonah started.
