I wonder what model Kala u-bass Peggy has… Fretted or fretless? And which strings he uses… I have an electro-acoustic fretted one, but can’t quite get that acoustic double bass sound when put thru my ampeg 20w bass combo. Any chance you could ask him?
A friend of ours plays uke bass. I think it’s a Kala, as that’s the brand he favours. Needs plugging in of course, but sounds great, much better than you’d think it would!
