Forty-eight years ago you were at Ainsdale Beach and Simon got kidnapped from the stage in the middle of a songby members of Steeleye Span .The others kept on playing ,Simon was brought back for the last chord😃

Crewe on Thursday night was a superb show, any FC fans around Southport who miss it will be missing a treat.
I remember this. Steeleye and Fairport started a jam session at the end of filming. The BBC turned the power off thinking there was going to be a riot..
