Fantastic. This set summed up the feel good atmosphere of Cropredy
The backing band did a good tribute but Brian Wilson oh dear…time to call it a draw.What a shambles.
Poor Brian. He tries hard and you have to admire him but the set would have been much better with his mike turned off!

Brian Wilson could get up and sing I’m a Little Teapot and I would still have nothing but respect and admiration for all that he achieved.
I wasn’t looking forward to this, I never did much like Pet Sounds, but it was a fabulous set. The way they recreated the old harmonies, and to hear all the early ‘feel good’ car and surfing material live some 50+ years after hearing the records on Radio Caroline as a teenager was really special.
Poor exploited Brian – read about how he does not like touring – let the poor man retire – excellent in his day.
Awful, money making scheme, a band who looked like they didn’t want to be there, “Hello Festival” WTF? and a poor, old, ill bloke who shouldn’t have been made to be there. Very shoddy, please don’t bring them back, let the guy have some dignity.
Saw him at the Hop Farm festival 3 years ago. It was the same then. He looked like a Gerry Anderson puppet….it was most sad x
