City Sound Project and The Marlowe Theatre present
GABRIELLE APLIN
On Sunday the 6th May (bank holiday weekend), for the very first time, City Sound Project are taking over the main 1200 seat auditorium in the incredible Marlowe Theatre and bringing with them one of the most talented and recognised voices in the world right now.
Gabrielle Aplin is a whip smart British singer songwriter who began her career in 2010, building a massive online fanbase and releasing her own music independently on her own record label ‘Never Fade Records’.
Her debut album ‘English Rain’ was released in 2013 and contained a slew of UK top 10 singles, including: Please Don’t Say You Love Me, Panic Cord, Home, Salvation and Gabrielle’s unforgettable cover of The Power Of Love which reached #1 in the UK chart. English Rain is now certified Gold in the UK. Her third album is due to be released in Summer 2018 and is sure to land her another number one in the album charts.
The show forms part of the expansion of City Sound Project music festival, which now takes place across the month of May with a programme of events and shows in Canterbury spanning multiple genres and disciplines, from spoken word to modern dance DJs and acts.
Tickets go on sale Friday 2nd February and start from just £20 (plus booking fee) – from the Marlowe’s Box Office.
