In any given year, many young people in Gloucestershire are unable to access mainstream schooling due to physical or mental health disorders. The majority of these young people are aged between 14-16.

Working with the Gloucestershire Hospital Education Service (GHES), we are giving every KS4 student the chance to work over time with a writer-in-residence, either in person or via a digital learning platform.

Here's Hannah and her mum, they describe how our project Beyond Words has helped her confidence.
