Bloodstock 2025 is about to unleash a sonic assault on Derbyshire, and it’s gonna be gloriously brutal!

Festivals and gigs. A listings calendar, plus previews, news, reviews, and photos

Calling all metalheads, thrash lords, and mosh pit enthusiasts!

Mark your calendars for August 7th to 10th – Bloodstock Open Air is back for another year of headbanging anthems, fire-breathing dragons (okay, maybe just some epic pyrotechnics), and enough good vibes to make Valhalla jealous.

But who’s gonna be rocking the main stage this year? Buckle up, because this lineup is FIRED UP!

  • Gojira: Get ready for some mind-bending progressive metal mastery.
  • Mastodon: Prepare to be crushed by their signature groove and epic riffs.
  • Trivium: These guys are bringing the modern metal mayhem!
  • Machine Head: Thrash metal legends ready to melt your face.
  • Plus a whole lotta killer bands on other stages, including August Burns Red, Lacuna Coil, Kublai Khan TX, Obituary, Kataklysm, and many more!

Bloodstock’s Not Just About the Music (But It’s Pretty Damn Good!)

Bloodstock isn’t just about the music, though that’s definitely a highlight. There’s a whole festival village to explore, with stalls selling everything from battle vests to artisanal mead (perfect for your inner Viking!). Plus, there’s spoken word, comedy, and workshops to keep you entertained between mosh sessions.

A Festival with History (and Horns!)

Bloodstock isn’t a newbie on the festival scene. It’s actually the UK’s largest independent metal festival, and it’s been around since 2005. Back then, it was a small gathering of metalheads, but it quickly grew into the glorious beast it is today. They’ve stayed true to their roots, though, keeping the focus on underground and established metal acts, creating a real sense of community for fans.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your tickets, pack your comfiest mosh pit boots, and get ready to celebrate all things metal at Bloodstock 2025! It’s gonna be legendary!
