Ho hum…We went to so much trouble to come up with a uniquely pretentious T shirt slogan. So much so that we asked Jethro Tull legend Dee Palmer, the most scholarly scholar we know, to check the Latin translation for us. She, in turn, enlisted the help of her good friend and the most scholarly scholar that she knows – David Stockdale KC – to confirm the translation. And yet many of you out there took it to be an Islamist ‘call to prayer’. No no no, ’tis “On A Wing And A Prayer”, which is how we’ve always operated, translated into Latin, as you do…
The point of this post (at last) is to alert you to the fact that the last few Longsleeve and T shirts are available now, and when they’re gone, they’re gone, to coin a phrase. Just 10 Longsleeve, 25 shortsleeve, split between 3 colours and several sizes. Printed silver on front, white on reverse, and beautifully pretentious 😀
