🎉 Celebrating Two Decades of Fearless Creativity: Latitude’s 20th Anniversary First Release Lineup Revealed

Latitude Festival is marking its 20th anniversary from July 23 to 26, 2026, at Henham Park, Suffolk, celebrating two decades of pioneering the blend of music with philosophy, poetry, theatre, and dance.

A Boundary-Pushing Headliner Trio

The landmark edition boasts a powerful and diverse lineup, featuring global icon David Byrne in a UK festival exclusive performance. Festival Founder Melvin Benn notes Byrne’s set “symbolises everything the festival stands for: curiosity, creativity, and fearless artistry.”

Also headlining is Lewis Capaldi, making an emotional return to the stage since stepping back from touring in 2023. This performance promises to be a triumphant celebration of resilience for the multi-platinum artist. Rounding out the headliners is soul sensation Teddy Swims, returning after a breakout performance to share his heartfelt R&B and pop blend.

But, for us, the true stars of the show will be Getdown Services.

After discovering them at Bearded Theory earlier this year and catching both their Glastonbury sets we predict enormous things for this punk-disco duo.

With the fatest tour schedule we’ve seen in many years they have been selling out venues on both side of the Atlantic and rightly so.

The Full Spectrum of Arts

True to its unique identity, the festival also features an eclectic mix of boundary-pushing artists:

  • The Flaming Lips bringing their psychedelic spectacle.
  • The Last Dinner Party returning fresh off global acclaim and a Mercury Prize win.
  • Self Esteem back on the main stage after her watershed 2022 performance.
  • Iconic acts like Billy Ocean and Vanessa Carlton.
  • Fan favourites including Tom Grennan and Wet Leg.
  • Alex James’ Britpop Classical making its debut.

The full arts, comedy, theatre, dance, and literary programme—which will dive deep into the cultural forces of the last two decades—is yet to be announced.

Tickets go on general sale this Wednesday at 10 am.

Melvin Benn, Latitude Founder and Festival Director, says: “Twenty years of Latitude feels like both a moment and a lifetime. We’ve watched this festival grow from an ambitious idea into a cultural institution that has genuinely changed what people expect from a festival experience. This first lineup announcement celebrates everything Latitude has always stood for: fearless programming, artistic ambition, and that magical collision between discovery and legacy. With David Byrne playing an exclusive festival set, Teddy Swims bringing his soulful energy to the festival, and Lewis Capaldi returning after his courageous journey, alongside artists ranging from The Flaming Lips to The Last Dinner Party, this lineup tells the story of where we’ve been and where we’re going.

But Latitude has never been just about music. The past twenty years have been extraordinary, culturally, politically, and socially, and our yet-to-be-announced comedy, theatre, dance, poetry and literary programme will dive deep into the most important artists and moments that have shaped us all. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together, and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at Henham Park this July.”
