Decent but not ‘the biggest line up to date’
So Truck Festival, but in Derbyshire.
Well a bit of a let down to be honest on the whole as headliners go , foals ???… elbow and two door ok but I thought you would have pulled a biggie out considering all the hype over the “best line up yet”…. CLUB MALIBU ALL THE WAY IT IS THEN…. I know you can’t please everyone but it is a bit weak
I’m not sure they’re ever going to top Snoop Dogg and Basement Jaxx. Incredible year!
Franz Ferdinand aswell never seen them, i actually haven’t seen any of them. Echo and the bunnymen miles fukin Kane and I’ve pro green lets go

Yep, you’ll never beat Snoop saying hello to “mutha fuckin’ Matloccccccck”, but to be honest, you could put the rock and roll hall of fame as the line up (including the dead ones) and I’d still get hammered on Thursday night, recover Friday, repeat on Saturday, watch half a dozen bands all weekend, and come back saying it was the best weekend ever. Can’t wait.

It’s not that it’s a particularly shit line up it’s just a bit underwhelming is all. I’ve never been to Y Not before and booked tickets for me, my wife and twin 3yr old boys on the strength of last years line up (and on how kiddy friendly it appears to be). There’s just no one with a solid back catalogue of hit after hit that 90% of the crowd are going to be familiar with. Last year you had Jamiroquai and the manics who’ve both got that quality. Sure Elbow have been around for years but aside from A Day Like This and Grounds for Divorce I’m struggling as I’m guessing is the case for anyone who’s not a die hard fan. It’s the same for the other headliners and the majority of the other familiar acts in the line up, I know a couple of songs for most of the acts but none that I’m like “I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG”. I’m still looking forward to taking my kids to their first festival and hopefully the weather will hold. I’m now going with the vibe of discovering new bands to follow and hopefully come July 29th I’ll be eating my words and commenting what an amazing festival this is!

Shared. I think that’s one of the best line ups I’ve seen of all festivals for a very long time 👍 (just my opinion of course).
Anna-Marie White – memories of eating Yorkshire pudding, sausage chips and gravy in the middle of a field, washing it down with pink gin and tonic whilst watching the world go by, listening to live music. Happy days 😍

Would make a fab first festival for our daughter and make me and my man very happy to see the amazing Elbow again 😍
Loved it last year, definitely won’t be going this year.
