Hanukkah, Festival of Lights – Arr. Howard Rowe
for “Zayde”

A medley of best loved Hanukkah songs, including “Baruch Shel Chanukah” (Blessings Over Lights), “Ma’oz Tsur” (Rock of Ages) and a delightful treatment of “Chanukkah, Oy Chanukkah” that features a Klezmer-styled clarinet or trumpet solo.

Grade 3 Composition
Composed by Howard Rowe
Performed by the Washington Winds
Published by Birch Island Music Press (2010)
Hosted on http://www.barnhouse.com/www.jwpepper.com
Available on iTunes

Songs Included:
Baruch Shel Chanukah (0:11)
Chanukkah, Oy Chanukkah (0:41)
Ma’oz Tsur (2:19)

After a couple of years of pressure from my brother, stopdropandkill13, I have decided to upload this piece which he played while in 8th Grade at the South Pasadena Middle School’s 2011 Winter Concert. He actually tried out for the solo with his trumpet; unfortunately another was chosen to play it.

I do not own anything.
