Truck Festival 2026: Indie Royalty, Chaos Merchants & Future Favourites Land at Hill Farm

Festivals and gigs. A listings calendar, plus previews, news, reviews, and photos

With only 25% of tickets left and installment plans available to soften the financial blow (your bank account can stop hyperventilating now), Truck Festival has a frankly outrageous set of artists lined up for 23–26 July 2026. If you needed an excuse to escape to Hill Farm next summer, consider this your cosmic sign.

The big headline, of course, is the long-awaited return of The Maccabees — their first proper reunion appearance and a booking that’s already got indie fans performing small emotional earthquakes across Oxfordshire. Joining them are polished festival titans Two Door Cinema Club, who’ll perform Tourist History in full (because nostalgia is now officially a headline act), and The Wombats, who have never once failed to turn a field into a pogoing mass of chaos.

But Truck hasn’t stopped at nostalgia bait. CMAT, riding an unstoppable wave of charisma, bangers, and cowboy-adjacent glamour, steps up as Thursday headliner, while The Libertines return to prove that the crown jewels of shambolic British rock still know how to command a main stage. Primal Scream will bring the acid-house-rock sermon, and Kaiser Chiefs promise to scream I Predict a Riot until your vocal cords file for divorce.

And because Truck loves a curveball: The Vaccines roll in as special guests, celebrating 15 years of What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? — the album that turned half the UK into cardigan-wearing indie bros overnight.

A Line-Up Built for All Levels of Mayhem

The undercard is a glorious mix of rising stars, cult heroes, and bands who feel genetically engineered for muddy fields and plastic pints.

The K’s, Rizzle Kicks, and English Teacher ensure that the mid-bill hits different — from brash indie exuberance to razor-sharp art-rock intelligence. Circa Waves, Everything Everything, and Friendly Fires continue Truck’s noble tradition of curating music for people who enjoy dancing and overthinking the lyrics.

The Cribs, Lottery Winners, and Kid Kapichi reinforce the line-up’s rowdy backbone, while Getdown Services bring their brilliantly weird pub-punk theatre to a field that will absolutely adore them. We Are Scientists add a layer of transatlantic indie swagger, and Brooke Combe provides one of those “future headliner” energy slots.

And then — the wild card that absolutely no one saw coming: Vanessa Carlton. Yes, that Vanessa Carlton. Yes, “A Thousand Miles” Vanessa Carlton. The memes write themselves, but so will the euphoric sing-along when those piano notes hit.

A Deep-Cut Dream for Music Addicts

Truck’s strength has always been its attention to detail, and 2026 is stacked with names destined to become your new obsessions. Radio Free Alice, Willie J Healey, Westside Cowboy, The Lilacs, Good Health Good Wealth, and Black Honey all land with shows guaranteed to turn casual curiosity into sweaty devotion.

There’s a dark-horse-heavy lower tier too: Bleegh 9:3, Bloodworm, Saint Clair, girlintheyearabove, Silver Gore, The Theatre, Love Rarely, Cat Ryan, and Pixie McCann, to name only a chaotic handful. This is the part of the line-up where Truck always wins — the artists you wander into with no expectations and leave bragging about for the next decade.

Not content with packing the schedule to bursting, Truck also throws in Mr Motivator, because of course they do, the Oxford Symphony Orchestra, and Trendy’s Landfill Indie Disco, which will let you scream along to every song from 2004–2012 like you’re reliving your youth or someone else’s.

2026 Is Already Looking Like a Big One

Truck has pulled off a rare feat: nostalgia without stagnation, heritage acts without heritage-rock fatigue, and a wave of fresh names that feel genuinely exciting. It’s chaotic, colourful, occasionally confusing — in other words, everything a British festival should be.

With tickets evaporating and anticipation skyrocketing, Hill Farm looks set for one of its most memorable weekends yet. Pack your bucket hat, practice your two-step, and set up that payment plan. Truck Festival 2026 is coming in hot.
