The Darkness: Still Rockin’ It
Let’s be honest, The Darkness are like that mate who always shows up with a six-pack and a killer guitar riff. Their Latitude set was pure, unadulterated rock ‘n’ roll. Justin Hawkins is the kind of frontman you either love or hate, but there’s no denying his energy. The guy’s got more moves than a cat on a hot tin roof.
Their set was a rollercoaster of classic hits and newer stuff, but let’s be real, everyone was there for the old classics. When they sparked into “I Believe in a Thing Called Love,” the crowd went absolutely wild. It was like a collective group therapy session for anyone who grew up in the 00s.
Yeah, they might be a bit cheesy at times, but there’s something undeniably fun about their music. It’s like putting on your favorite band t-shirt and feeling instantly cooler. The Darkness might not be reinventing the wheel, but they sure know how to make a crowd have a good time.
