Two of New Wave’s most influential and genre-defining acts, The B-52s and DEVO, will unite for a pair of co-headline UK arena dates in June 2026, bringing their acclaimed Cosmic De-Evolution Tour across the Atlantic for a rare double-bill appearance.
UK Dates
- Saturday 20 June 2026 — The O2, London
- Sunday 21 June 2026 — AO Arena, Manchester
Special guests The Rezillos and Lene Lovich are confirmed to open the shows, creating a lineup that spans four decades of innovative alternative music — from punk-driven technicolour energy to avant-pop theatricality.
A Return to UK Stages
The 2026 dates mark The B-52s’ first UK performances since 2019, with founding members Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson continuing to lead the band. Known for an unmistakable sound built on surf-pop guitars, bright harmonies and euphoric dance energy, the group remains one of the most celebrated American alternative acts of their era.
DEVO, featuring classic-era members Mark Mothersbaugh, Gerald Casale and Bob Mothersbaugh, join them following recent US and Canadian shows that reignited global interest in the band’s visionary fusion of art-rock, punk and synth-driven experimentation.
