More screen time for Ri-Ri Director Peter Berg has revealed that his long-awaited documentary tracking Rihanna‘s rise to fame could be in cinemas in “about a month and half”. The NME first reported on plans for the documentary back in 2015. It appears that the original description of the film as an “unfiltered look into the singer’s life” remains true. The Lone Survivor director spoke to Slash Film: “I think she’s an extraordinary young woman and it really is kind of a pretty comprehensive profile of what goes in to making her this talent that she is. NME Festival blog: Star Wars’ Kelly Marie Tran has deleted all of her posts on Instagram after months of harassment

Star Wars actor Kelly Marie Tran has reportedly deleted all of her posts on Instagram after facing months of harassment from angry fans. Tran played Rose Trico in The Last Jedi – a mechanic who befriends and ultimately saves Finn (John Boyega) from dying in the movie. Tran was the first woman of colour to play a leading role in the franchise and it was reported back in December that she faced sexist and racist comments after her appearance in the film. The Rose Tico description on the Star Wars ‘Wookieepedia’ website was altered to feature offensive, racist language while alt-right internet personality Paul Ray Ramsey took aim at Tran’s appearance. Taylor Swift has confirmed her first live performances in eight months. The singer last played live at Houston’s Club Nomadic on February 4, 2017 for a special show in partnership with DIRECTV. Since then, she has announced her sixth album, ‘Reputation‘, and has shared two songs from it in the form of ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and ‘…Ready For It?’. Now, Swift has been confirmed to appear at two shows in December.
