Skinny Lister are some of our favourite rabble-rousers – their music overflowing with a joyous celebration of life, love and liberty.
Tonight at Brighton’s Concorde 2 they set sail on their latest venture – a mammoth world tour that will take them across the UK, Europe and America with a new LP but the same old free-wheeling spirit.
And with support from the powerful Irish rockers The Wood Burning Savages (overones of U2 at their very best but with a contemporary edge that could easily see them owning a big stage at Reading/Leeds or Download) and Trapper Schoepp (a singer-songwriter you definitely need on your musical bucket list) this is a proper show that ought to see audiences queing to be in right from the opening bars.
