Royal Blood’s Glastonbury Festival 2023 set was always going to be a tricky affair after their outburst at the recent Radio 1 Big Weekend.
The band brushed the incident under the carpet, but mainstream reviewers still questioned them with a few missing stars…
For our money this was a great set that showed how rock remains relevant on a festival bill that is veering more and more towards the pop end of the charts.
We are looking forward to seeing how one of our favourite new bands , HotWax, go down with their American audiences this Autumn on the west coast leg of their USA tour – and we would like to put a prediction in right now that HotWax will feature on either Woodsies or the Truth Stage in 2024.
