The promoters, Peter Shapiro included . . claimed on stage that this is the future of fests. It was run next to Rise dispensary and they got all the permitting needed to have cannabis vendors operating . . .free rolling stations. . dab bars. . . online dispensary ordering and re-entry to pick up your order from the dispensary. Good times.
I sure hope so. There have been some interesting setups at some festivals in the south- where the hemp laws have created a sort of gray zone and festivals are the perfect place to test the boundaries.
There was a vendor selling THC flower in the Bonnaroo campground this year, but they didn’t seem to get a lot of business. Either because people assumed it was just CBD and didn’t even look at the menu, or because everyone brought enough of their own- since that’s usually the only option.
I would love if there was some premium dispensaries at a festival though. I would probably still smuggle in some cheaper stuff, but then buy a few grams of some top shelf shit to spice up the weekend.
This IS the future of music fests!! A small bluegrass fest near us called Hoxeyville recently introduced a FULL dab bar where you can CONSUME FOR FREE (they had it the last 2 years). Right be the main stage! Cannabis vendors come and dab us out and can sell it too! It’s incredible and definitely the future

Why would people want to buy overpriced weed from shitty companies that lobby against homegrows at festivals?

Catskill Mountain Jubilee had an official section of cannabis vendors. About a dozen total. Some selling seeds and plants.
Even Peach had a “THC-A” bud vendor, which is just uncured regular weed.
I hope so-it was well organized and a lot of fun. JRAD was on fire as usual.
At veld you could bring weed. Is this what you’re saying? Or you mean direct vendors inside the festival? I feel as if they’d charge more
Hopefully Oregon, Colorado, and Cali can have vendors who sell psychedelics soon now that it’s decrinalized (doubtful).
God i hope not
Looked like an awesome event! Hope you had fun!!
Just like a cannabis cup but with more music.
