So Rambler’s here are the next announcements for Ramblin’ Man 2018 and we thank you all for your patience…

We are very excited that he has agreed to play and he takes his place as special guest for the Outlaw Country Stage: He has one of the most powerful and emotional voices in rock, he is the lead singer of Alter Bridge and is the front man of Slash’s The Conspirators…. He is of course Myles Kennedy and he will be showcasing his very personal album Year Of The Tiger at this year’s Fair.

Playing the Outlaw Country Stage: Formed by ex members of legendary southern rock outfits Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot & Molly Hatchet these southern rockers are ‘Here For A Good Time’ from Nashville, Tennessee they are the one and only Skinny Molly

Also for the Outlaw Country Stage and bringing a bit of ‘southern rock muscle’ to the Fair… They hail from Orlando, Florida and fans and critics just can’t get enough of them and they have been receiving critical acclaim on their current support with The Temperance Movement… We proudly welcome THOMAS WYNN & THE BELIEVERS

For the Prog Stage…. They have been causing more than a stir in mainland Europe, playing festivals and sell out shows alike and have been hailed as many as the future of Prog…From Austria we welcome Second Relation

They were part of Belfast’s golden age of rock in the eighties, they play the main stage at this year’s Fair and have just released their debut album after 35 years of rockin’ (It’s a long story apparently) they are No Hot Ashes – Reunion

Skinny Molly are good..but cancelled at the last minute, when I travelled to see them last time..apparently they had had a better gig offer…

Myles Kennedy …. Country, I think not, Outlaw or otherwise.

Move Gov’t Mule to the main stage, they are better live than most of the bands on it. Timing wise, don’t have Mule and Blackberry Smoke on at the same time, as fans of both bands will want to see both bands, and as they tour together in America quite often, interaction between the bands often takes place.

This is looking more like an epic festival now! 3 stages each day by the looks of things. With the quality of the artists on the country outlaw stage I really hope this is an outdoor stage and not in a tent as previous years. Can’t believe how this lineup has now come together. Great shout Ramblin’ man. Some top quality acts on across the weekend. Is it just me or is the outlaw stage the place to be with Skinny Molly (great choice) Myles Kennedy ( love his solo album ) and the mighty Steve Earle doing Copperhead Road!

Think Myles would be better on the main stage an awful lot of people will want to see him !!

This festival has fallen into place nicely I think. Very eclectic- more the enough to keep me happy.

Steve, Gemma and Laura Oakes, looks like Myles Kennedy is finally becoming a Ramblin’ Man!
and Steve, we get another opportunity to miss No Hot Ashes!!

So, 3 stages each day – does that mean the country stage won’t be in a tent? Hope so as Myles and Steve Earle will attract big crowds…

Myles Kennedy on country stage……a country mile?

  18. Anonymous says:

Myles Kennedy hell yeah and from what I remember No Hot Ashes were great the last time they played Ramblin. Need to check out the other bands.

Yay!! Made my day, so disappointed when I couldn’t get tickets for Myles Kennedy solo tour. However, have got Ramblin Man tickets. Can’t wait, the lineup is getting better and better.!!!!!!!

  20. Anonymous says:

Hell yeah, Myles Kennedy…..new solo album songs…..yes!!!!

Lineup really uninspiring after last year, which was amazing. We bought our tickets in advance hoping for more of the same but this year is underwhelming.

Outlaw Stage is nowhere near big enough for Miles Kennedy and I’d like to see him (and not just hear him). Put him on the Main Stage!!

  23. Anonymous says:

Yasmin Holly, Steel Panther and Halestorm in Maidstone?! I suddenly feel like it’s 2015 again 😱😱

Ticket choice looked complicated. Two day pass, then I think I need a camping pass, then a car park pass too, all per person. Couldn’t work it out so gave up.

What do I need for one car, two people, camping for both days?
