Description

Back in 2001 a guy called Alex Trenchard had a big birthday barbecue in Hertfordshire in the grounds of Standon Lordship.

In 2004 it opened it’s doors to provide a public live music event with one stage on just one day.

The festival hasn’t been without its rocky moments (you can read for yourself how Alex found a less-than-legal way of keeping the event afloat after losses in 2008 and 2009…every little helps as they say) – but it holds its head high and brings in somew of the best bands on the circuit every year.

In 2023 they scooped ‘lineup of the year’ at thge UK festival awards…
