KNEECAP Announces Biggest Ever Headline Show: London’s Crystal Palace Park to Host Spectacular 2026 Irish Music Gathering!

Possibly the most talked-about group in the world, West Belfast and Derry’s revolutionary hip-hop trio Kneecap, have announced their biggest headline show yet, taking over Crystal Palace Park in London on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

The monumental date is set to be one of the largest gatherings in the 2026 London Irish cultural calendar, with Kneecap bringing a stacked lineup of special guests, including the rabble-rousing Irish ballad group The Mary Wallopers, genre-bending five-piece Fat Dog, unique pop purveyor Biig Piig, industrial post-punk outfit Gurriers, and rising experimental folk band Madra Salach.

Back to the Belly of the Beast

Speaking on the massive announcement, Kneecap shared their excitement for the 25,000-person event:

“Back to the belly of the beast for our biggest ever headline show. Our last wee venture into London was to beat the government in court…again. This time it’ll be even better: 25,000 sound heads in a park together. We’re delighted to have some of our best mates and best bands around to join us. This is one we can’t wait for.”

The Rise of the Revolutionary Trio

Kneecap has rapidly catapulted into the mainstream, mobilising a generation with their potent and revolutionary brand of hip-hop. Their fiercely intelligent breakthrough concept album, Fine Art (2024), produced by Toddla T, proved to be a critical success, released in tandem with their BAFTA-winning feature film, Kneecap, which stars Michael Fassbender and was short-listed for an Academy Award.

Whether they’re rolling up to Sundance in a police Land Rover, encouraging young people to learn Irish, or annoying politicians the world over, the trio’s message of unity, community, and collective action is underscored by their blistering live performances. Fresh off a sold-out UK tour and their new single ‘No Comment’ featuring Sub Focus, the momentum behind the Kneecap movement continues to grow as they prepare for this major headline show.

A Lineup of Irish and UK Talent

Joining the bill are some of the most exciting acts on the current scene:

  • The Mary Wallopers are known for their raw energy, with early performances often described as “Dead Kennedys meets The Clancy Brothers.” Having expanded to a seven-piece, they’ll bring their captivating, crowd-thrilling show to the park.
  • The lineup is rounded out by the unique sounds of Fat Dog, modern pop artist Biig Piig, post-punkers Gurriers, and folk-experimentalists Madra Salach, ensuring an unmissable day of music.

The show takes place at Crystal Palace Park, London’s original outdoor concert venue, which has historically hosted legends like The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, and Pink Floyd. The park continues its legacy by showcasing exciting talent, including previously announced 2026 shows with Two Door Cinema Club, Snow Patrol, and The Offspring.
