  1. Showers in both emperor fields
Plus everyone should get a lanyard with timings on with the cost

  2. 2 door cinema club next year please 😁

  3. Please more toilets in the main arena!!!!

  4. Little feedback – some soft close toilet doors would be welcome in the camp sites. Constant slamming all night really doesn’t bode well with light sleepers 🫣

  5. Had a fantastic time, will definitely go again but need
more toilets in the main area and near the music tents.
Four hour queue on Friday to get in 🥲
Reytons, definitely need to be on the main stage, I have seen them at another festival and the tents are definitely not big enough.

  6. Worst toilets at any festival I’ve ever been to. Nowhere near enough for the amount of people. No van searches, no wristband or bag checks when it got busy, completely disorganised and unsafe!

  7. P.s
Woodchip the paths from the camp sites into the main fields as from the Thursday from emperor fields into the arena it was silly then nevermind fri Sat Sunday

  8. Heather Small was amazing, a definite main stage act.

  9. First time loved it but bit of steep Hill not one two walk to tangerine fields not clearly posted were to go maps but no names on were you are but after thurs night fri am came as moved the car unauthorised my KC experience began n I loved it xxx

  10. Angie Mac says:

Ace weekend my 8th … toilets totally agree not enough … food stalls ripping your eyes out but they got us as we need food, Main stage fantastic set up much better , weather was better than normal but great to see better walk ways not as hazardous , Need to start pulling for better line ups , stereophonics love them but Wombats should have had their spot , Parklands was great , The Snuts should have had a main stage slot 👍👌, The K,s 10/10 , have them back , next year let’s have Don Broco , Idris Elba , Liam Gallagher RagNBone Man …Roll on Thursday 10am …well done all who made it happen … 👌👌

  11. As festivals go, I didn’t see many toilets that were that bad.
The 4.5 hour queue in traffic was unacceptable. Apparently all caused by the single person checking car parking tickets and selling them to people who didn’t have them.

  12. Mark Syson says:

Most main stage acts weren’t the best.
Co-op fantastic addition but could you turn the music off at midnight. Who’s idea was to situate next to live in vehicles & music still bouncing at 2am??
    Great weekend though

  13. Loved it ready to book next year but food stall prices went up each day. Extra money for next year ❤️

  14. Paula Popz says:

People saying they waited ages for toilets it was about a five (at a push) ten min wait .the only thing that needs sorting is the price of food but then again no . you expect to pay over the odds it costs alot for these things to be set up . I think everything was okay .x

  15. Will definitely be there, this year was fab 😍 live in field was spot on and we loved the new location for the main stage.
Only gripe and the reason I didn’t drink more 😉was the lack of toilets for women.
    Stereophonic’s did not disappoint 😍

  16. Access needs to change for next year, after 5 years of being independent and able to access the site on my own, this year was a total let down. Really hope lessons are learned so that if we return the experience is better .

  17. people in the welfare tent are all legends x

  18. Well done 👍 KC, can’t wait for next, I’d love to see rag n bone man there ❤️

  19. First time at Kendal and will definitely be returning 🙌🏼🤍 No traffic or queues to get in on Thursday, parking was quick and organised. Campsite was a 5 minute walk from the main stage (do agree though could definitely do with toilets at the main stage). We’ll be back next year👏🏼🎪🎶

  20. Really enjoyed my 1st time at KC, but have to agree on the toilet comments, they were not good and not enough to meet the amount of people attending. Pleased I packed hand sanitize and toilet roll as these were non-existent.

  21. Will there be anymore trees in front of the MainStage next year

  22. Fab weekend, but please please need way more toilets, I saw no more than previous years and every year you sell thousands more tickets. Loved the new main stage, is there any way you can make another exit from the new main stage location? The old location people could leave in all directions, in a very safe and relaxed manner, the new area entrance / exit is a complete bottleneck, and finally, please sort out your wine order for next year, can’t believe you ran out at 5pm on Friday and had no more until 5pm on Saturday, good job the bag checks were lax!

  23. Utterly amazing. Fabulous lineup superb service, outstanding acts and was delighted to see a calm sensory area for those who needed it. Superb food choices,

Loved the boutique camping! Didn’t have problem with the toilets, but could have been some more near Oktoberfest?

Disappointing merch sold out so quickly 🥺 Couldn’t get a coloured hoodie on Thursday afternoon!

For us oldies (only 50!), the walk between the arena and the main stage was a little prohibitive. Could be addressed by a paid for shuttle service between arena entrance and boutique camping entrance? 😁 I would definitely pay!

  24. Rocked up with a false leg (recent) walked down to accessible site was a mission and half wasn’t advised about buggies until sat morning but much better after that but finished after main stage closes disabled people don’t rave it would appear.. small quibbles to a otherwise mint time

  25. Need to sort out Tangerine field camping. It was more like a refugee camp, paying £180 to have a tent put up n not even enough space to put table n chair outside.
Nowhere near enough toilets, no water or handsanitiser in arena area, pretty shocking really !!
Couldn’t purchase a lanyard anywhere! On line timings didn’t match actual performance.

After attending Glastonbury this year, kendal was a poor performance on facilities for campers.

Loved the set up in arena, but wouldn’t rush back!!

  26. Bill Bailey was mint

  27. First time there and we had a good time but there needs to be some more consideration for access -we missed the accessible camping etc as it didn’t apply when we booked tickets -so we paid for deer lodge glamping which was lovely but a hell of a trek (down and then up hill) to the arena .Every individual we spoke to was lovely and as helpful as they could be but it didn’t seem to be joined up and little consideration for people who have access issues but aren’t in accessible camping .No disabled toilets on the campsite and one shuttle in on a morning and one back at 23.30 .Would love to come back but am feeling apprehensive

  28. 9th time and KC gets better and better every year – how on earth will they top 22 – loved every second thank you ❤️❣️

  29. My first time at KC and I loved it. However like other have said to e toilet situation wasn’t the best. Maps of where to find things would have been nice (didnt have a lanyard). Had Heineken vip tickets. Not sure what we got for them (nothing apart from a bar miles out the way of everything that wasn’t any cheaper than the other bars).
I have a food intolerance and struggled with choice of food. Would have been nice on your page to have identified which stalls catered for gf etc

  30. Gem Martin says:

Loved Kendal Calling in 2019, but this year was very disappointing. The acts were great and loved the co-op shop that was a great idea but there were way too many people for the grounds and especially the lack of toilets. There definitely should have been alot more toilets, esp around main stage. I didnt drink due to this, as the queues were mental. I loved the main stage area for it being sloped so everyone can see the stage but would of been better to have a separate or bigger exit as we missed all headliners last songs to not get stuck in crowds exiting. And lastly parklands stage would of been better as a stage without a tent that way more people could enjoy. Too many people fighting there way in there. Crushing each other to watch joel corry. We stayed for a song and left as it wasn’t enjoyable getting shoved about. Going to wait a few years to return to see if there are any improvements. Kendal Calling

  31. Amy Louise says:

We had an amazing time, definitely worth the 2 year wait, but yes definitely more toilets and I different company for the phone charging in the village green, the owner was very rude, tried blaming my for them loosing my phone and when they did find it, it still had no charge init so they ended up having my phone all day! Absolute nightmare! Do not recommend buying it at all, no worth it!! But overall we had an amazing time! Thanks kendal, see you in the field next year ❤️

  32. Definitely need more toilets across the whole site, there didn’t seem to be many showers either for how many tents were in the camp and I can’t believe the lanyards ran out after a day 🤦🏼‍♂️.
There needs to be another co-op/shop too, having a 20 minute walk from the Great plains to the arena, then having to walk through there to the main stage entrance to then have another 15-20 minute walk and then to do it all again with your shopping, not great when you have kids, there should be some sort of shop in each campsite. The phone charging was a con too, picking your phone up hours later to have it less than half charged lol
Needs more family only camping space too with a noise curfew, I know it’s a festival and I’m all for having a great time, but when you’re up with the kids at 6am and your childless neighbours have music pounding until 3am, you’re knackered before the days started.
Moaning aside, we will probably try again, but not until the kids are a bit older as there wasn’t a great deal for younger ones apart from a couple of bouncy castles and a craft tent, plus I don’t think my poor old back could handle another weekend of pulling tired little legs around in a trolley up and down them hills again 😭

  33. The checking/searching for alcohol wax an absolute joke. We followed a young girl in yesterday. Security guard checked her bag & in it were 4 small water bottles filled with what looked like wine. It certainly wasn’t water & he just let her through. We even saw a family with one of those carts who had just gone through security check & the child was sat on a case of cans of Carling & a case of cider.
We didn’t take anything in nor did we buy anything in the arena. Far too expensive.
It seemed like it was one rule for 1 & one for another 😡
There were a number of other issues which you need to address which have all been previously mentioned.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t kill a great festival 😡

  34. Please make female urinals a thing guys!!! Too much time wasted in queue’s. A second Yorkie and Greek Gyros van is definitely needed 😋 Not a fan of the cups, was nearly breaking my ankles on discarded ones covered in mud, needed to refund the £2 or do what they do at Rock Werchter – so many collected cups get you a free beer!! Lanyards need to be sold by the entrance on arrival, I do agree the set times were all over the place, Vaccines should have been later. All in all, staff were lovely and we had a great time ☺️ my highlight was Lancashire Hotpots 👏👏👏

  35. May not return next year. This year felt like you tried to rip people off. Paid for a live in vehicle ticket to be situated off site in frontier. May as well have parked in Penrith it was that far. Main issue is that you have clearly oversold the festival to make up for the last two years. More people than ever before and more people for the space than any other festival. Couldn’t watch many of the bands in the tents as you couldn’t get in. 30 plus minutes for kids and ladies to wait for a toilet is unacceptable. Obvious you wanted to keep costs low to increase profits. I still had a good time and made the most of it but it didn’t feel like Kendal calling. Felt like a new festival that’s trying to be bigger but ripping people off in the process. Will see what other festivals reviews are like before rebooking Kendal for 2023.

  36. The massive hill to climb was a big problem, surely I am not the only one to complain about this ?

  37. Absolute belter weekend THANKYOU always people comingplaining about toilets and ques, longest qye we had was 15 mins for a yorky NO COMPLAINTS FROM US we had a ballllllllll Thankyou Kendal calling cant wait for next year 🎶💃💕🎶💃💕🎶💃💕 Txxx

  38. Jen Barton says:

I’m quite surprised at some comments. We had an incredible weekend. Yes you sometimes queued for toilets and there wasn’t always loo roll. But that’s festival life. I thought it was a great atmosphere. All staff/volunteers were incredibly friendly. Definitely coming back again. Thanks to all involved!

  39. Don’t make the only way finding times of the acts an £8 laniard and I’ll come back. If you’ve bought a ticket you should be able to find out when acts are on for free

  40. Had a great time..but to pay nearly £1,000 for a luxury bell tent only to end up sleeping on a thin plastic ‘mattress ‘ and to end up with bruises on my back from the wooden board nailed over the camp ‘bed’ is unacceptable and I will be sending a formal complaint with pictures of mattress and bruises.

Plus..not enough toilets in arena or Deer Lodge. Broken showers..cold water showers..nearly 1.5 hours waiting to check in once we reached Deer Lodge site was hugely disappointing. Staff were over stretched and very stressed and admitted they were finding it hard to cope with the volume of people.

I don’t like to complain because we did have a great time but when you spend that amount of money you expect a half decent mattress. Plus other tents had really good mattresses and we were told it depended on who erected the tent?!!

We had decided to go luxury for medical reasons and wanted to try and get a comfortable night sleep. Needless to say that did not happen. Would have been more comfortable and less out of pocket taking our own tent and double Airbed.

Sorry for the negative feedback KC but you really let us down badly this year 😔

I would be interested in hearing if anyone else had same problem.

  41. I Would have gone in a bush
