Today would have been Martyn Bennett‘s 50th Birthday!
It’s impossible to overstate the impact that Martyn’s music had on the landscapes of both traditional and contemporary music in Scotland. His genre bending
blend of traditional Celtic and modern electronic music spanned cultural divides. The influences of which are still clear amongst many artists on the scene today.This photo was taken way back in 1998 when Martyn headlined HebCelt with Cuillin Music.
