🎄☃️🎼🎄☃️🎅🎻☃️🎄 Day 3 of our 12 days of Christmas! Today’s offering comes from the one and only Norrie “Tago” MacIver. Norrie is a singer/songwriter from Carloway on the west side of Lewis who currently lives in Fife after many years away from home. Since 2016 Norrie has been the lead singer of one of the biggest artists on the folk and trad scene, Skipinnish. Past artists include Bodega and Manran and along with all these artists Norrie has toured all over the world since 2009. For this clip Norrie returned to his naitive Carloway to record his now classic anthem “Latha Math” as part of a special set for the HebCelt Survival Sessions – Na Bailtean (The Villages) series. This series of recordings features Gaelic song from areas across Lewis and Harris presented by Gaelic singers in their communities. There will be more to come from the Na Bailtean series in our 12 Days of Christmas. 🎄☃️🎼🎄☃️🎅🎻☃️🎄 Nollaig Chridheil agus Bliadhna Mhath Ùr! #nollaigchridheil
