3 weeks to go until our Survival Sessions Thursday night concert.

Featuring LIVE performance from Staran, a super group of highly sought-after Scottish folk musicians, Kim Carnie , John Lowrie, Innes White, James Lindsay and Jack Smedley.

Orcadian dynamic duo and long time Festival favourites Saltfishforty will also bring their trademark brand of traditional music and original composition to their LIVE set broadcast from our Survivial Sessions home in Stornoway’s An Lanntair arts centre.

Thursday night’s Survival Sessions concert will also play host to a special Hebridean Celtic Festival Trust production from local film maker Daibhidh Martin. Na Bailtean, a pre-recorded feature will focus on the rich tradition of Gaelic song from areas across Lewis and Harris presented by local Gaelic singers Isobel Ann Martin, Amy Mackay, Norrie “Tago” MacIver and Ceitlin Lilidh.
