He was amazing. Shame we had 2 very drunk people in front of us who could barely stand and had no idea of personal space who really had a negative impact on the group of people who surrounded them.

Excellent show and it should have been for the prices. Exit though was a joke. The ‘security’ shut off the main door to the road, without explanation, treat you like an imbecile, and herd you into a corridor where we stood for five minutes without moving an inch. Somebody then shouts they’ve opened the doors and we all troop back and go out the main exit. The reason? Richie was going out that way. Why didn’t they just tell us that in the first place and we could have waited a few minutes instead of standing around like cattle underneath the stand. What did they think middle class, middle England was going to do. Storm through and mob him? Joke. Just treat us like adults. Jobsworths just love having their bit of power, don’t they. They just love telling you to do something without explanation. A******.

Lionel Richie was brilliant last night as always. It was just a pity that two of our party of four could not see him most of the time. We paid £135 each for our tickets and were hemmed in like sardines in a tin. I could not move. I know I wasn’t the only person unhappy with the arrangement. I spoke to one of the organisers on the way out and was told they knew It was tight but unfortunately it is the way the seats are designed. They are cheap plastic school style chairs held together with plastic ties. I have been going to Lionel Richie concerts for years and always loved them. This one was extremely disappointing.
