Guilfest pulls Sophie-Ellis Bextor and The Proclaimers out of the hat for 2026

Festivals and gigs. A listings calendar, plus previews, news, reviews, and photos

GuilFest is officially back from the dead and ready to reclaim its spot on the UK festival map, dropping a seriously bonkers lineup that mixes disco royalty with Scottish folk-punk legends. Set for Stoke Park in Guildford on July 4th and 5th, 2026, this is the moment the Surrey weekender regains its crown.

Saturday night is locked down by the Queen of Kitchen Disco herself, Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Riding high on the never-ending ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ revival, Ellis-Bextor is guaranteed to turn Guildford into one giant, glittering house party. Get ready for peak glamour and groove.

The vibe swings wildly on Sunday when The Proclaimers step up to close out the main stage. Twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid are bringing the singalongs, armed with stone-cold anthems like ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’. Prepare your lungs, people, because this is going to be epic.

But the party isn’t just about the headliners. Organisers have piled the bill high with an impossibly eclectic cast. Saturday sees a heavy dose of dance and indie bangers with a Rudimental (DJ set), plus indie-pop heroes The Lottery Winners. Need some left-field thrills? You’ll find the glorious, grunge-disco mash-up that is Elvana (yes, Elvis meets Nirvana).

Sunday is a proper nostalgic riot: 90s alt-rockers Kula Shaker join two-tone ska legends Bad Manners and Kid Creole & The Coconuts. Elsewhere, prepare for hits from veterans like ABC, Haircut 100, and Heather Small.

With seven stages covering everything from comedy to bushcraft (seriously), GuilFest is ramping up its comeback. Super Early Bird tickets are on sale now. If you’re looking for the summer’s most ridiculously fun and varied weekend, get involved before these golden tickets vanish.
