Yassmin Abdel-Magied is a Sudanese-born author, broadcaster, social advocate and digital influencer with a background in mechanical engineering. She travels the world speaking to governments, NGOs and multinational companies. Her TED talk, 'What does my headscarf mean to you?', has been viewed over two million times and her critically acclaimed essays have most recently been published in It’s Not About The Burqa and The New Daughters of Africa. In 2018, Yassmin guest co-hosted The Guilty Feminist podcast talking about The Windrush Generation.
