When we spoke to human rights lawyer and campaigner Clive Stafford Smith in episode 8 of our ‘Somewhere To Believe In’ podcast, he said that “true pacifism requires real courage.”
On this #InternationalDayofPeace we want to remember and honour all those who have spoken at the festival over the years about their struggle for peace and their non-violent resistance to oppression and injustice – from those who have broken into RAF bases to damage fighter jets bound for the Yemen to Palestinians resisting the occupation with patient, creative and courageous forms of living and loving.
