Latest Festival Flyer update from Greenbelt

We’ve been working on an exciting new project this summer with Chicago-based Muslim curator Asad Ali Jafri.
Asad has curated our Amal venue at the festival, and this time around we’ve commissioned four Muslim
artists to make short films in response to the times we’re living through, threaded together by longstanding festival friend and Greenbelt afficionado Abdul-Rehman Malik.On the 28th we’d love you to join us in the evening at 8pm, on YouTube or our own Facebook page, for a livestream premier of the four films – from the band The Reminders and dancer Amirah Sackett in the States, and spoken word artist Muneera Pilgrim and street artist Mohammed Ali here in the UK. These will be followed by a conversation hosted by Asad with the artists involved.
So save the date for what promises to be a groundbreaking evening in the long life of the festival we all love. We really hope you can be there for it. Livestream links coming soon.
